What can you expect from our Sunday services?
The first thing is a warm welcome! Our welcome team want to help everyone – especially newcomers – have a positive experience. As we believe the Bible is God’s words written down, our main focus on Sundays is listening to the Bible explained and applied to life so that we can all know God and live well in His world. We use a modern version of the Bible (NIV 11).
Our services include a mixture of traditional and contemporary music, led prayers and regular communion services.
Our morning service begins at 10am and finishes around 11:30am.
If you haven't been before, our morning service is ideal for your first visit.
During the service we offer a creche, groups for children from age 3 to 15 and groups for adults and children with learning disabilities called Causeway.
There are refreshments after the service which provides a great opportunity to stay on and get to know others in the church.
Beginning at 6:30pm and finishing around 7:40pm, Sundays@6:30 is an ideal service for any Christian who wants to grow in their faith.
It is less formal than the morning service and follows a different format. We sit around tables and the service is divided into three blocks of 20 minutes: 20 minutes of Praise led by our band, a 20 minute Preach and 20 minutes Participation (a mix of group discussion and prayer). During school holidays the evening service follows a more traditional format.
We offer a Sunday night after church meeting (SNAC) for secondary school aged young people, but the morning crèche, Sunday school and Causeway groups are not replicated in the evening.
