The book of Acts is one of the most electrifying documents in history. It was written around 62AD by a respected historian called Luke. We get to see what happened immediately after Jesus’ public execution & resurrection and how these seismic historic events changed people’s lives and eventually changed our world. The big theme of Acts is the unstoppable mission of Jesus to send the gospel to the ends of earth. In Acts we see the first ever Christian sermon (from Peter the fisherman), the first Christian martyr (A young guy called Stephen), the first African convert (from Ethiopia), the first Roman convert (An elite soldier called Cornelius), and the first European convert (A business-woman called Lydia). What we discover is: The resurrection of Jesus Christ is profoundly relevant for everyone.
