Advent Live 2020 – Coming to a window near you!

1st - 27th December

24 Advent Windows illuminated 4pm-9pm everyday from the 1st - 27th December.

This advent themed afternoon/evening walk starts and finishes in the Danbury Mission car park.

Hudson's will be open for hot drinks and Christmas treats on Saturday 5th and 12th December between 4pm and 9pm.

Please be aware that some roads in Danbury are unpaved and/or unlit therefore extra care should be taken. It is a good idea to have a torch and wear hi-visibility clothing. Please ensure that children are supervised at all times.

 

Light in the Darkness

Dei Gratia Baroque Ensemble (who came to Danbury to perform Handel's Messiah and St john Passion) have invited us to join them for 'Light in the Darkness' on Saturday 28th November at 7.30pm. This exclusive programme of Baroque music for the season of Advent with readings from the Bible, recorded live in Luther Tyndale Memorial Church in London. 

The concert will be premiered live on our YouTube channel at 7.30pm and will also be available afterwards on YouTube. .
 

Featuring music from Handel's Messiah, Bach's Christmas Oratorio, cantatas by Telemann and Scarlatti, and solo instrumental works by Bach and Telemann.
