What can you expect from our Sunday children’s work?
As we believe the Bible is God’s word, we want to help children and young people to understand the big picture of God’s rescue plan for the world, to put their trust in Jesus Christ and live God’s way in their everyday lives. We try to do this using age appropriate interactive teaching materials and supplement the teaching with crafts and activities.
In the morning service children stay with parents for the first 15 minutes of the service and then go out to age-appropriate groups.
We also offer a crèche facility, which is staffed from the time the children leave the main service and we offer groups for adults and children with learning disabilities called Causeway, which run concurrent with Sunday school.
In the evening service, children stay with parents throughout the service. Immediately after the service there is a social event (SNAC) for secondary school age young people held in various church members’ homes.
